Republican Voluntary Center

Main goal:

to increase the access of young people to the information about the participation opportunities in the field of non-formal education, development of civil and social competencies.

Objectives:

• Development of the main activities of the Center (educational programmes, support and development of voluntary movement)

• Support and coordination of NGO’s and Youth initiatives working in the field of volunteerism

• Technical support for local and foreign long-term volunteers (pre-departures, on-arrivals, etc.)

• Creation of a data-base of local and international youth programmes

Activities:

• Info-meetings on youth programmes for young people and representatives of NGO’s in Minsk and in the regions to present information about different opportunities of participation in national and international youth programmes.

• Info-meetings and presentations in the regions to know about different opportunities of participation in national and international youth programmes and know where to find such information.

• Consultations (including online) for young people and youth initiatives to provide support on opportunities which could help them in development and their realization.

• Foreign volunteers support meetings to provide support with the documents and with adaptation in another culture. To provide volunteers with space to meet each other and to share their experiences.

• Local volunteers support trainings 5 to create a space for volunteers from different organizations to share experiences and to do join actions. To provide volunteers with skills needed to become new active members of NGOs and third sector.
